The values of organic chestnut pollen:

Organic chestnut pollen has some of the highest antioxidant values in the ORAC test (measure of the antioxidant capacity of a food) in the pollen, fruit and vegetable category.

Antioxidants help protect against free radicals and are allies of choice for cardiovascular and neurodegenerative protection.

It is also rich in tryptophan, an amino acid precursor to serotonin, which is involved in the regulation of mood and anxiety.

Source of vitamin B6, organic chestnut pollen contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system.

Directions:

One large spoon (12g) of fresh frozen chestnut pollen for breakfast.

Pollen can be eaten pure or sprinkled on a fruit salad, yogurt or muesli. 

Fresh pollen is a raw, living, very complete and complex food that degrades very quickly in the air and at room temperature. The exclusive process patented by Pollenergie consists of freezing pollen as soon as it is harvested and packaging it under a protective atmosphere. Fresh pollen can thus travel at room temperature for more than 7 days before being safely refrozen to guarantee its full nutritional potential. Store in the freezer between -15° and -18° C.
